Con Nooga has several charity events in
2012: Our annual Item Auction, Sidekick Auction & Texas Hold-Em
Charity Tournament. New this year is Charity Beer Tasting! We raised
$3,000 for our charities in 2011
& we have even more awesome earning potential in 2012!

Don't miss the 5th Annual Con Nooga Charity Auctions on Saturday to
benefit this year's charities! There will be 2 separate auctions:
items/services & sidekicks.
We have an amazing assortment of items in the auction this year! From
swords to leather chaps to art to autographed cds to a handmade
Browncoat, there's something for everyone! A list and pictures of more

How
to get the items to the auction:
1) Make arrangements with Maria, the
Charity Mistress, prior to con, 2) Charity minions will be stopping by
all booths in the Exhibitor Hall Fri/Sat,
3) Drop items off at Ops (Norfolk Room) by 2pm Saturday (will need to
fill out form at time of drop-off so we know who donated what). THANK
YOU!!
Sidekicks (people) will be auctioned to the highest bidder to be your
very own personal sidekick! How about your very own Fandom Girl to place
you in a collar & lead you around? Want a personal masseuse for an
hour? How about a dinner date? In need of some
hot arm candy (male and female) for a room party? Collect sidekicks
& create your own entourage! Come and get your very own sidekick
while helping our local charities! This will be an auction to remember,
so see you there!
NOTE: The Sidekick auction is an 18 & up only event.

Introducing HOME BREWING as the preferred method of obtaining great beer!!
We will discuss the basics of home brew: What you will need, How to do it (It is simple, really!)
CHARITY BEER TASTING
We love beer. You love beer. And everyone has a favorite beer. Bring your best home brew or your favorite commercial beer. We will all share and discuss the beer that we bring. The Traveling Revelers will have more than seven of our favorite beers, with possibly a sampling of Peter Beer Slayer's own brews (based on availability)
Access to this charity event requires a donation of $5 to the Tennessee Humane Animal League Pet Placement Center and an additional suggested donation of a minimum of a six pack or a growler of your favorite brews. (IDs will be checked at the door)
